Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation State Historic Site

Hofwyl-Broadfoeld Plantation was owned by the same family from 1806 to 1973. Hourly tours of the ante-bellum era plantation house, fully furnished with family owned antiques dating to the 1750's. There are seven original plantation out-buildings, tabby ruins of a rice mill, camellia gardens, hundreds of century's old Live Oak trees, trails, a museum featuring the family's silver collection and exhibits on low-country rice production. Located one hour south of Savannah.
