Battlefield Memorial Park

Interactive historic programming at the site is included with Savannah History Museum admission. On Oct 9, 1779, more than 8,000 troops of three armies fought during the American Revolution Battle of Savannah. Battlefield Memorial Park presents visitors with a memorial to those who fought in the 2nd bloodiest battle of the American Revolution, and marks where approximately 800 troops died or were wounded.
